National Level

  1. A National level award from Indian Physics Association (IPA):- ‘S. N. Seshadri Instrumentation Award in Physical Sciences- 2002’ has been received for innovation / excellence in indigenous development of ‘Microprocessor controlled Rapid Thermal Annealing (RTA) System’. This stand alone system is installed at Department of Physics, University of Mumbai and currently being used extensively for fundamental research in Semiconductor Physics. The award carries prize money of Rs. 20000/- and a citation.
  2. Member of BOS Physics at Chougule College, Goa

University level

  1. Recipient of the ‘Best Teacher Award’ for the academic year 2006-07, from University of Mumbai.
  2. Obtained second rank in the University of Mumbai at M. Sc. (Physics) degree examination, held in May 1986.
  3. Received M. V. Bhagwat prize for the year 1985-86 for standing first in M. Sc. (Physics) from the Institute of Science, Mumbai.

Regional:

  1. Received the ‘Late Baburao Joshi Best Teacher Award’ for the academic year 2005-06, awarded by ‘Ratnagiri Education (R. E.) Society’, Ratnagiri. The R. E. Society runs Gogate-Jogalekar College, Ratnagiri, where I work.
  2. A certificate of appreciation of outstanding service and co-operation extended has been received from the Rotary club, Ratnagiri.
  3. A certificate of appreciation of the success in research field has been received from the ‘Sankalp Kala Manch’, Ratnagiri.
  4. Felicitated by ‘Jay Hind Pratishthan’, Ratnagiri, for receiving the best teacher award from Mumbai University in a public function ‘Bahar-2008’ on 16th January 2008.
